The BMW X7 brings a trio of turbocharged engines for a power-packed performance. The standard model 2020 xDrive40i has a 335-hp six-cylinder, whereas the xDrive50i features a 456-hp twin-turbo V-8. The highest-tier M50i has a specially tuned version of that V-8, which creates 523-hp. The 2020 X7 has a special off-road package that’s optional with an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential, new off-road driving modes, and a front skid plate designed to safeguard the bottom of the engine. In comparison, the X6 40i is pushed by a 335-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six, which is mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Each X6 model has either all- or rear-wheel drive, but the highest M50i tier has the same transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The top tier also has twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8, which makes 523-horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque.
Both X7 and X6 are loaded with high-tech features, a fully digital gauge cluster, and a big 12.3-inch touchscreen display that shows access to music, apps, and navigation. The big touchscreen takes over the dashboard and provides access to the infotainment hub. Both models have a modern audio system, built-in navigation, Apple CarPlay™ capability, Wi-Fi hotspot, and wireless charging. The 2020 BMW X6 and BMW X7 feature a suite full of driver-assist technologies, featuring blindspot monitor, lane-change assist, lane-keeping assist, an enhanced rear view camera, and many more similar safety features. Grouped with the Harman/Kardon® stereo, both SUVs equip top-notch infotainment systems. However, the 2020 X6 also has a rear-seat entertainment system just for the passengers in the second row. Both SUVs operate through various functions such as voice commands, traditional buttons, and rotary controllers on the center console, and even gesture controls.

They found the positives in the car and showed items that were concerning but could have wait a few more months. Liked that they had a separate waiting area with coffee and I appreciated the ride home and also the return pick up that was offered.

In comparison, the Midtown location is better than the Clear Lake location. Clear Lake said I needed a valve cover and gasket replacement, Liam took a look and said it was dry and there was no need. After hearing that I will not be returning to Clear Lake. Made me question the breaks and rotors replacement I had done at Clear Lake on a car with only 25k miles, was that needed? Midtown, y'all are killing it!
My Service Advisor, Emma was extremely helpful and polite. She kept me informed about the process and talked to the servicemen about an issue that I was concerned about. I would highly recommend her and Advantsge BMW.
