BMW Connected+ Delivers Personalized Connectivity

BMW is celebrating the companys Innovation Days 2017, highlighting the recent technological developments that are designed to make everyday driving easier for owners. One such marvel is BMW Connected+, which serves as a digital connection between your smartphone and your BMW and offers the next level of personalization and smartphone integration. In addition to offering you easier access to the contents of your smartphone through the Control Display, Connected+ has been designed to include new services to help you make the most of the technology at hand: Send My Routes to Car: route planning using your smartphone is even more convenient. After you enter your destination, BMW Connected+ will make sure that your vehicle has enough fuel for the trip. If it doesnt, BMW Connected+ will suggest potential refueling stops; once one is selected and added to the route, the route is transferred to the vehicle with scheduled stops displayed.

Share Live Trip Status: Keep your friends, family and business contacts informed about your location and estimated time of arrival by sending an SMS link to selected people. When clicked, the link will display your current position on a map along with an estimated arrival time based on real-time traffic. They stay informed while you can continue to focus on driving and arriving safely. Navigate Door-to-Door: Since youre not always going to be able to park right at your destination, this function allows you to follow directions on foot once youve parked. When youre ready to return to your vehicle, it will also route you back to where you parked.

My Destinations: Access contact information in your address book, or recently visited destinations stored in the navigation system. Choosing your next destination is as easy as selecting an address associated with a contacts name. BMW Connected+ offers you the power to transform your car into your personalized control center.
